ICT as a driver of development is one of the main priorities In rural development planning process.
It plays an important role in rural development and even an effective role in the process of reverse migration of population from cities to rural areas by removing traditional boundaries.
There are many bottlenecks in the rural and less developed areas, for removing them, it is essential to planning and benefiting from international experiences in the development of ICT in rural areas, through coordination with related organizations and institutions.
Along with development of the high-speed ports in poor and rural areas which is carried out by Ministry of ICT, for optimum utilization of this communication infrastructure and investments was made, ITRC was planning the Plan of “Rural E-services Development following USO Manual”.
Ministry of ICT intends to achieve the following strategic objectives uso Plan:
